Privacy Policy, Compliance Framework, Manual and Guide

As per POPI Act and PAIA Act we provide the following details:

Keeping of Records

As part of our service, we store a large amount of your information. This information will be kept for as long as you remain in contract with our service, and for a period of up to five years after the end of your last contract entered with us.This is in compliance with Chapter 3 Part A Section 8,9,10,11, 12 and 14.

Privacy and Your Personally Identifiable Information

We will always treat your personally identifiable information with the strictest confidence. We follow best practices as laid out in the FIC, RIC and PoPI Acts of South Africa. We are required to keep copies of your ID and proof of address.We will on an annual basis ask you to re-submit your ID and Proof of address to ensure compliance and accuracy of records. This is in compliance with Chapter 3 Part A Section 16.

Permission of Use

As part of the access to our service, you give us permission to view and use your personally identifiable information and the data gathered in relation to your trading activities and usage of our portal. Analysing and working with your data is a standard business practice which enables us to deliver a better service to you. We will from time to time display your and other data in various formats. When this occurs, all personally identifiable information will be omitted or be invisible. This is in compliance with Chapter 3 Part A Section 13 and 18.

Third Party Disclosure

We will not disclose your data along with your personal identifiable information without your consent to anyone unless required to do so by law. This is in compliance with Chapter 3 Part A Section 19,20 and 21.

Access to and Correction of Personal Information

As a client of ours, you may at any time request us to confirm and or correct aspects of your personal information that we hold. This is in compliance with Section 23 and 24.

To make a request, download the Request Form, fill it in then email it to the information officer. The information officer will then reply with this form filled in.

Manual, Guide and Object

This document constitutes a Manual and Guide as contemplated in the PAI Act Section 10 and 51; and POPI Act Section 17.
